CLAUDIO LUCIFORA is Professor of Economics at the Università Cattolica of Milan. He is research fellow of IZA and fRDB. He has been visiting scholar at the University of Warwick, Université de Paris 2, Université Dapuphine, CEPREMAP, London School of Economics, Universitat Autonoma Barcelona, Universidad Argentina de Buenos Aires, Australian National University and University of New South Wales. He is currently President of AIEL (Italian association of labour economists), has been elected member of the executive committee and Treasurer of EALE (European Association of Labour Economists), member of the executive committee of AISRI (Associazione Italiana Relazioni Industriali) and past member of the executive committee of AIEL. In 2000 he co-organised in Milan the first World Meeting of Labour economists (EALE-SOLE). He has published books on low pay employment, Performance-related pay, Labour economics, the economics of education and the shadow economy, as well as articles in refereed journals on earnings mobility, wage determination, unemployment and labour market institutions as well as health economics.
