Francesco Pastore [PhD (Sussex); Dottorato (Federico II); MSC (Coripe, Turin); Laurea (BSc; "Federico II")] qualified as Full Professor of Economic Policy (habilitation) in 2013.
He is currently Aggregate Professor of Economics at Seconda Università di Napoli, where he also lectures Economics of Financial Intermediaries, Labor Economics and Econometrics. He is also a research fellow of IZA Bonn, the Secretary of AIEL (Italian Association of Labor Economics) and a member of the exective board of AISSEC (Italian Association of Comparative Economic Studies).
Previously, he was a research fellow at University of Naples "Federico II" and ISAE.
He has acted as a consultant for a number of national and international agencies, such as the World Bank, European Commission, ILO, UNDP, Unesco, and Friedrich Ebert Stifung.
His research interests are in the field of labour, education and transition economics.
He has published a number of scientific papers into such journals as: Journals of Economic Surveys, Economics of Education Review, Stata Journal, Economics of Transition, Economia Politica, Eastern European Economics, Annals of Public and Cooperative Economics, Post-Communist Economies, Empirica, Comparative Economic Studies, Review of Middle East Economics and Finance.
He has guest-edited 3 special issues of the International Journal of Manpower and 2 books for Springer Verlag.
