The Italian Association of Labour Economics (AIEL) and the Department of Economics, Management, and Statistics (DEMS) at the University of Milano-Bicocca are pleased to announce the 40th AIEL Conference, to be held in Milan, 18-20 September 2025. The conference will provide an opportunity to discuss issues related to labour economics and to develop research collaborations.
The keynote lecture will be delivered by Kirabo Jackson (Northwestern University).
We are deeply saddened by the passing of Ghazala Azmat, Professor of Economics at Sciences Po, who had graciously accepted our invitation to deliver a keynote lecture at the 2025 AIEL Conference. A tribute published by the European Economic Association can be found here. AIEL will honour her memory during the conference.
